Requirements
Base level requirements for Meru’s Partner Program consist of “click-to-accept” terms and conditions, and providing end user names in POS for both Value and Pinnacle Partners. In addition, all Meru partners must meet the definition for Value Add to sell Meru Networks’ products. Additional requirements include:
- Maintain a face-to-face selling model with outbound sales representatives
- Provide end users with design, configuration and troubleshooting with pre and post-sales support
- Derive a significant portion of overall revenue from sale of complementary products to end users
- Have a valid account with an authorized Meru Networks Distributor
Value Partner
Value Partners are encouraged to learn about Meru and Meru's WLAN technology, but there are no requirements at this level. Meru also encourages Value Partners to grow their businesses by completing the free, on-demand sales and technical training that Meru offers. Value Partners are eligible to participate in the Demo Equipment Program that offers aggressive discounts off list price to encourage partners to invest in demo equipment.
Pinnacle Partners
Pinnacle Partners employ four Meru Networks certified members including: one authorized sales person, one authorized pre-sales engineer, and two certified post-sales technical engineers. In addition, Pinnacle Partners must achieve an industry certification from CNWP for Authorized Network Administrator (CWNA) or Cisco Wireless LAN or Advanced Wireless LAN. Pinnacle Partners must also have advanced wireless VoIP demonstration capabilities and must maintain a number of highly qualified engineers for advanced implementations.

Requirements for Selling into Public Sector
Meru Networks requires partners to separately qualify to sell into the public sector (federal, state, and local government and education customers). The program benefits partners by ensuring that only authorized public sector partners have access to special pricing and programs that may be available to public sector customers. Partners must meet the following requirements:
- Dedicated public sector sales team physically located in each state where business is performed
- Must have a public sector business plan
